This is a view of Grand Prismatic Spring from the ridge just southwest of the spring, providing a vantage point just over 500 ft above the water. This version is without a border or caption. This spectacular view of the spring is one of the highlights of Yellowstone, but is accessible only by climbing a ridge near the hot spring.

I specialize in fine art nature photography, with particular emphasis on the U.S. west including Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks. My goal in photographing the natural world is to overcome the inherent limitations of traditional photography to produce images with depth and perspective that artistically represent the beauty of our natural environment.
