This is a view of the night sky in Great Basin National Park with the Milky Way directly above Wheeler Peak, which is the highest mountain in Nevada. I specialize in fine art nature photography, with particular emphasis on the U.S. west including Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks. My goal in photographing the natural world is to overcome the inherent limitations of traditional photography to produce images with depth and perspective that artistically represent the beauty of our natural environment.
